Gen-X sat down and leaned against the tree, staring at the ground. She hugged herself and listened to Z pack their stuff into two easy-to-carry back packs.

I lugged my ax over ny shoulder and sighed, walking through ans looking for a nice tree. I picked one close to the edge of the woods and slammed my ax into it once, leaving it there and climbing onto it.

Gen-X looked up as Z plopped next to her. Just that morning, she'd witnessed both of her parents get killed, and now she and her brother were on the run. She sighed and hugged herself.

I climbed the tree and met Excalibur at the top and bit into a pancake, looking over the trees until I spoted an alone one with two figures under it. I started to wave my arms, trying to get their attention.

(8XD In the story, they fell out of the tree and I got up and ran around screaming 'IT'S RAINING CHILDREN!')
Gen-X looked at the food Z was trying to get her to eat with a blankexpression. She was not in the mode for pretending her food was an airplane and she wasn't very hungry at the time.

Excalibur sprawled her wings and flew down to them, putting her hand out. I groaned and fell out of ny tree ans grabbed ny ax, slinging it over my shoulder and following her.

Excalibur grinned ans chirped.
"Excalibur! What is yours?"
I walked up behind Excalibur and waved at them.

Gen-X opened her mouth to respond, but Z interupted, walking out from behind the tree.
"Gen-X, who are these people?" Z narrowed his eyes as Gen-X pointed to Excalibur.
"She's Excalibur..."

I waved and flipped my ax, balancing the blade on the ground.
"Ahem, and I am Once-ler."
Excalibur nodded and flicked her wings.

Gen-X nodded and looked the two over with wide, slightly glowing green eyes. She blushed softly looking over the boy, and quickly turned to her brother, who narrowed his eyes and crossed his arms in a distrusting manner.

I smiled and tipped my hat, slinging my ax again. Excalibur wiggled and smiled.
"What is his name...? Oh, and Once likes Oncie better.... He just doesn't mention it."
I bobbed my head and agreed to both things, smiling at the two new faces.

Gen-X blinked with a semi-worried expression and forced Z to smile.
"His name is Generation-Z."
Z scowled and pulled away from her and frowning.
"He prefers Z."

Excalibur nodded ans climbed the tree, hungry. I sat down in front of Gen-X and frowned.
"What's wrong? You seem worried or scared..."

Gen-X glanced at him, then gazed at the ground.
"I... uhm... I'm not okay... I'm very scared.... And sad... and Z isn't helping improve my mood..." She murmured softly.
