Marie looked up at sheild HQ, shuddering. She fallowed the agents inside, glancing around. She froze as she noticed some of her old friends from her previous life.

Marie turned away, looking up at Fury.
"Why am I here?" She asked a a shaky voice. Fury frowned.
"I'm sure you already guessed the answer."
She nodded, and turned towards her old friends, shuffling over to them, and accepting Gen-X's hug, but kept her eyes on the ground.
"Hi Richard..." She muttered, stuffing her hands in the pockets of her jeans.

"Fine, but I don't want any part of the fighting... I'm just an inventor."
Gen-X frowned.
"Marie... you used to love fighting..."
Marie shook her head.
"No fighting."

She glanced at him, and looked up at an anget standing next to her.
"I'll take these... visitors to the estate, they can stay there." She murmured. The agent nodded, and Marie shuffled towards the door, deciding t walk home. She paused and glanced over her shoulder. Gen-X sighed.
"She's just not the same anymore..." She muttered, before following Marie.
